1. Choose a headset-compatible site
Open the site in the Meta Quest Browser and look for a WebXR or VR goggles button in the player. Confirm the video is labeled VR180 or 180-degree stereoscopic rather than standard flat video.
2. Start with streaming
Select a moderate quality first to verify projection and playback. Switch to a higher resolution after the scene loads reliably. If the view looks doubled or distorted, check the stereo layout and projection mode.
3. Use downloads for maximum quality
A high-bitrate local file can look sharper and avoid buffering. Use an established Quest-compatible player, transfer only files you are authorized to download, and keep enough free storage for large 8K videos.
4. Protect privacy and comfort
Use a private space, clear your boundary, secure the headset strap and take breaks. Review browser history and downloaded files according to your own privacy needs. Never use a headset while driving or in an unsafe environment.
